Submission Guidelines
Copyright Warning
Digital Articles.Net does not condone the theft of copyright materials or blatant plagiarism. This means that authors should only submit their own original written work to which they have natural copyright unless they have the express permission of the copyright owner.
In cases where copyright is disputed (usually as a result of plagiarism or unauthorized copying), articles will be immediately removed without recourse or discussion, regardless of the arguments presented by the disputing parties. Depending on the seriousness of the violation your account may also be removed from the system.
Free and Re-Printable Content
Digital Articles.Net is a free content article directory. This means that any webmaster, publisher, or editor may re-print your article(s) subject to the basic terms and conditions outlined on this site. If you are an author that charges a fee for publication of your articles or requires that special terms be met prior to publication of your work, you should NOT submit your writings to this site.
Article Submission
Submissions to Digital Articles.Net are free and each article is checked by a real person before being posted to the site. This is to ensure that only well written and useful content will make it into the directory.
Before submitting an article, please search the Digital Articles.Net database to ensure your articles have not already been added by someone else.
Irrelevant content such as blatant self promotion, sales pitch, spamming etc will not be accepted. We will also reject inappropriate content such as adult, racist, offensive content etc. Repeated abuse of these rules will result in a ban.
Submit your article to one category only. Multiple submissions of the same article will be removed and, in extreme cases, authors spamming the Digital Articles.Net engine will be banned.
Article Criteria
Article submissions are subject to length restrictions. These are outlined below:
- Article Title: maximum 100 characters.
- Summary: maximum 400 characters (No HTML).
- Article Body: maximum of 15,000 characters or roughly 2,500 words (Basic linking and formatting HTML allowed).
- Author Bio: 300 characters (Basic linking HTML allowed).
Article Formatting and Links
We strongly recommend that authors submitting to Digital Articles.Net copy and paste articles from a basic text editor like Notepad. Following this suggestion will ensure that paragraph breaks, line length and other basic formatting will be properly handled by our submission form. Copying and pasting content from applications like MS Word can and does result in a variety of formatting problems.
Use of HTML within the content should be kept to a minimum. We recommend only basic codes such as bold, italics etc. Any relevant hyperlinks in both the content and the bio will need html tags as our system will not automatically link these.
